It’s been a while since I’ve put together a seasonal / lifestyle post. Since next week is the 4th of July, I’ve gathered some of my favorite entertaining ideas from my Summer Pinterest Board! Hopefully this wave of summer thunderstorms will take a break next Thursday so that we can all enjoy a day off to celebrate our country’s independence with friends, family, fireworks & BBQ. Get inspired by these festive displays & happy party prepping!

1. Creative Display
Instead of lining cups, silverware & napkins on a table, combine them for a unique, eye catching display that is also convenient for your guests. Similarly, by filling an open white bucket with coke & tying ribbons on the front, you’ve gone from an ordinary drink cooler to a centerpiece!
2. Fun Favors
Use red white & blue food for a fun take-home gift! Candy is always a favorite (& so cute when arranged into a flag) but you also can’t go wrong with fresh berries in mason jars.
3. Festive Punch
Make your drink station stand out with pre-mixed drinks ready to take & sip. In the 1st pic, guests can also take home the plastic mason jar tumblers as favors ($10 at Bed Bath & Beyond)! The second pic shows layered Hawaiian punch & blue Gatorade.
4. Entertainment
It’s not a 4th of July party without fireworks & old fashioned games. Hand out sparklers with printed tags & matchboxes wrapped in scrapbook paper or set up game stations like ring toss or corn hole!
5. Food Wrapping
A super easy way to add pops of color & instant interest to any party – wrap your food with scrapbook paper! You can even add layers of ribbon or twine for a country-feel.
